in my own headcanons the hans are in charge of prisons in norta. they use their blood to make some cool shit to retain criminals and people the royal family doesn’t like. SO BEHAVE.
all of them have power negation and that makes them both loved and feared by silvers! he doesn’t really care, because most of them are like entitled children to his eyes 🙄.
they also believe segregation is a mistake and that everyone is equal, so when they employ reds, it is usually with the intention of giving them a better life. that’s the only thing they can do without challenging the crown.
he’s just very quiet and reserved, but he is very nice and kind. lol love him.

as all kings and queens do, his parents tried their hardest to convert the future king to adopting their own beliefs, that the way they wished to run things is The Best Way
ofc the end goal of this being that when he rules, what he’s rlly doing is carrying out their vision for the kingdom ( think cersei lannister )
as a result, jaewon was never really raised or taught to develop his own beliefs!! he is the incarnation of the silent war between his parents
tbh even his Name is all planned?? to his mom, he’s gonna carry out the plan of the last king jaewon to remove the ssegregation between the silvers and reds, whereas to his dad, it’s just another tactic to fuck with the reds
unfortunately, due to Unknown circumstances, his mom passes when he’s like 6-7 so because of this, he has no choice but to fall in line with his dad’s beliefs
but his mom put in a lot of Work when she was still alive, so some of her teaching stuck w him
unfortunately he twists it in a way that would’ve made her facepalm lmao e.g. mom: reds are Strong too they are People too you need to take care of them
jaewon: o they’re strong?? so that means i can’t ignore them like the other silvers do!! i must manipulate them into thinking i care for them so they lend me their strength and when i get the chance i’ll sneakily take care of them like dad wants me to!!!

but at the same time he’s not v vocal abt his support for them in front of the silvers ( that’s mostly bc at the same time, he also needs to buy the silvers’ favour )
i’d think a lot of reds would ““understand””” that he can’t tho, espc since he’s still only a crown prince and at any time, he can be replaced by his siblings if need be
what is all this for? why does he want to ascend the throne so much, that he’d sell his humanity to the devil?
the answer is simple: if he ascends the throne, he’ll finally finally get that autonomy that was robbed from him by his own parents
until now—until tomorrow—kim jaewon is not a person. he’s a concept, the supposed answer to everyone’s prayers, even tho everyone’s prayers exist on a gradient that goes from black to white ( that being any two prayers can be hugely different, and yet One Man is supposed to answer them all, imagine ur future president meeting both republicans’ and democratics’ wishes It’s Impossible!!! )
but for now he’ll bend over backwards to entertain u, but once he gets the throne, he’ll finally be able to rule without anyone else tugging on his puppet strings

i am so excited that this rp is finally open!!! hello hello, i am charlie and may i present to you this lil bub song jaemin! he’s 20 years old, a red blood and works in the kitchens at the whitefire palace. he also has the power of regenerative healing, which he found out about when he was sixteen and as it is a passive ability and just happens, this does mean he needs to be careful not to out himself. which means no getting hurt so he’s not a member of the scarlet guard, and also because his mother is very ill and bed bound so he has to be there to look after her. but anyway, i have some facts and more info under the cut for you and if you want to plot, then please like this post and i will come to you!!! let’s have fun together :)
grew up in poverty. his father died in the military when he was only a couple of months old so was brought up by a struggling single mother. most nights he went to bed with an empty stomach
a well mannered and behaved young man, ALWAYS respectful to silvers even if he secretly hates all of them.
found work in the kitchens when he was seventeen, saving him from being shipped off to the military himself
no one knows about his power (obviously, he doesn’t want a premature death) besides his mother.
very friendly towards other reds, always one of the first to offer his help if someone is in trouble just so long as it is not going to get HIM in trouble just because he might get hurt and accidentally out himself as a power wielder to some silver. or a red who wants to dob him in for a reward or something.
underweight and shorter than average, still struggles to put food on the table for him himself and his mother, so still goes hungry a lot of the time.
most of his free time is spent looking after his mum. rarely had time for anything else, meaning that he doesn’t really have any friends despite being a pretty friendly and outgoing person.
He is INCREDIBLY easy to wind up, and people know it, making him a perfect target for teasing and prodding at on purpose for fun.
