i’m posting this so i have some accountability:

goal for my bb fic tonight: 2k and don’t let me get away with any less

now that i’ve reached my personal minimum wordcount for howitzer i’m gonna track my progress to the end a little differently.

i have approximately nine scenes planned out that are not finished, or not started. that’s it. nine scenes.

my goal today is to finish the two that are in progress, and possibly cap off one more (or two, as the next one leads into the fourth).

ultimate goal: this fic finished by the 6th. that’s seven days for nine scenes.i think i can do it.

howitzer summary for this week:

no writing tonight because my hands are.... pain

tomorrow: i’m going late night skating on the rink at the waterfront(!!!) so probably no writing tomorrow either

wednesday: probably will try to write at least a little bit, if i go to judo i’ll aim for 1k, if not i’ll aim for 2

thursday: no excuses, 2k

friday: even less excuses, 2k

and then at least 2.5k each day in the weekend

so, goal by next monday: at minimum 90k

so,,, i’ve been claimed by two artists (with the possibility of a third as round three is still open)

(woo different anon but) i've never written big bang fics before, why do they have to be secret ?? wouldn't u be trying to promote them ?? (im inexperienced pls forgive)

hey! basically until the claims are done, i shouldn’t be saying which fic is mine, it’s supposed to all be anonymous! that way all of the authors have a fair chance - if people with a lot of followers and interaction and interest in their work promo’d only their stuff, they’d get a pile of artists trying to claim them and other authors get left out.

also, because you’re only allowed to have at most three artists per fic, the artists get messed around a bit because many will miss out on popular works that they had set their hearts on

so it’s a bit more fair in the long run if no one knows who is writing what until after claims.

after claims are done and everyone has artists i’ll be promoting the he c k out of it!
