1.) Was Hordak Horde Prime’s general?
So I don’t think he was. Going off of his flashback monologue to Entrapta, it seems he had a very idealized view in comparison to what we actually see. His flashback seems more like an idealized view a child would have of their parent to cope. He wanted to believe he was favored, he wanted to believe that he was special in comparison with the line of identical clones behind him. He wanted to believe that his beacon of safety would swoop in and make everything okay and that didn’t happen. If he had a realistic view of his actual place in the Horde and its actual practices, he would have been more violent and more destructive in thirty years okay with complete eradication rather than leaving something to rule over. It’s only when he was desperate success(fear) with Prime that he really became ruthless.
I don’t think Prime would have generally appointed generals in general bc elevating one would create chaos in the system; it would give his clones aspirations and ambition if they saw it was possible for one of them to be elevated and Prime CANNOT have that. After all, look what happened with Hordak in the end hehehe
7.) What would have happened if Hordak raised Adora?
Ohhh this is interesting bc I already see the system he created as part of what raised Adora. I’m going to interpret this as Adora was like Imp I guess? I don’t know if she would have gone into the woods; she would have been a much firmer supporter of the Horde, on the kool-aid with Hordak. She would have been even harder on herself to do the right thing, directly wanting approval from him (which he would never give bc he wouldn’t know how to). I think she would be serious with less sense of self efficacy and maybe Catra would be in the lead more, if Hordak allowed her nearby which I think he would bc he does have a soft spot, and Catra would be MUCH better off for it. BUT WAIT Catra is even LESS okay bc of Shadow Weaver using her to get closer to Adora!
Focusing more on plot, she would have brought the sword back to the Horde but nothing would have been figured out. No progress would have been made until they possibly come across Entrapta while taking over Etheria, maybe ending up on opposite sides from the extended devastation from the Horde. So then we have combat tension Entrapdak and evil Catradora XD that went kind of off the rails but wait…
A peace treaty is brokered in order to get Entrapta’s help for his portal and in the peace, Adora has time to investigate her connection with the sword, with Catra self-isolating because of feeling separated from Adora. Entrapdak falls in love despite their differences, Catradora falls apart with a different flavor of angst and then portal opens with everyone on the right side! Wooffffff got there in the end!
(Also father-daughter reconciliation at the end of the show T.T)
29.) Will Imp continue to grow or will he stay toddler sized forever?
I fully believe Hordak used his DNA in combination with the gnarliest bat creature he could find just to prove something to himself lol and as a result, his son will tower over him at ten feet. Imp is in for one HELL of a puberty XD
7.) Which OC is your favorite and why?
This is tough and I feel like I’m being cold to my other OCs T.T
I think I gotta name Ken as my favorite, particularly in his setting with Morskaya because he is one of the most whumped characters and it just gives so much to work with story wise for his character and ripping-my-heart-into-shreds-and-caringly-putting-it-back-together wise, which asdfajsdgfkajdghfkajfg yes. Also routing a lot of smut through his perspective lol
15.) What talents do your OC’s have?
Ohhhhh I’m glad I got this one :3
Nimbus - Dance, track n field, chugging through basic algebra
Ken - MC-ing and SURFING!
Morskaya - anything in the sheets
Iggy - Whips and topology, dance, public speaking
Blythe - Leatherworking, reigning in Iggy
Hive - yelling at his brothers except for Chip
Chip - being the sweetest lil cutie-pie in the universe
20.) Do any of your OCs secretly miss being a member of the Horde?
I think some miss the predictability of the Horde. Ken specifically I can talk more about since he had a rough time of second guessing running, thinking that perhaps he made the wrong choice. I guess for my bats any idealized desire for the Horde comes from moments of self-doubt which they could all feel time to time, maybe even a random moment a whole decade or more after the disconnect. It could certainly be possible that they could have moments of asking themselves ‘Am I really doing well enough to call this better than the Horde?’ for the rest of their lives.
22.) What kind of tree would be each/any of your OC’s favorite at why?
Morskaya would be a birch tree because the bark and shapes of leaves remind him of his favorite thing- seashells!
Rabbit would be a coniferous tree because they are consistent and smell very nice.
The unnamed one would a weeping willow because he like the safety they provide.
Gozer and Allinen would be tumbleweeds because they are tumbleweeds who hate rules XD
Spire would be a redwood because of all the things a redwood could hold inside it forevor.
