It was a dark and stormy night, as the medium Celine Tremont and the banshee Kara Murphy made their way to Mabelle and Marigold’s home. It was an attempt to speak to the spirit of the late Marigold that led them there. But as Celine drew the symbol to summon the faerie, a bolt of lightning from the storm shot down and struck the ground in front of her, interrupting the ritual.
Both Celine and Kara escaped from the incident unscathed, but what they did not know was that the door to the spiritual realm had been open at the time of the strike. This caused it to become stuck, and spirits began to escape.
And thus, ghosts have come to Sunnybrooke.
