"I covered you, shielding you the best I could"
It did hurt. The dull throbbing pain could be felt all over different parts of her body and she groaned softly as she tried to get up before realising there was a body weight on her back weighing her down. Seika heard the light groan from a female voice and she turned her head quickly to see the other girl wincing in pain.
“Are you okay?” Seika mumbled as best as she could, noticing the scattered CD cases around them, some with shattered covers. All movement had immediately come to a halt when the huge crash sounded throughout the store. But she didn’t have the chance yet to even muster a ‘thank you’ or an apology before they were both surrounded by other customers that had swarmed to help them like bees to a nest.
