Multi-directional scaffolding system Ringlock
The system of multi-directional scaffolds Ringlock or Anchor in disk is the modular system used in certified scaffolds. This system is the safest and most effective when carrying out construction projects that require work at different heights, such as building maintenance, exterior painting, civil works, industrial maintenance, shipbuilding or set-up of scenarios for different events. This type of scaffolding complies with the Colombian technical standard ( NTC1641 - NTC1642 - NTC1735 ).
The Ring Lock system has the following advantages:
· Versatility: The rosette system allows for 8 connections in different directions, which allows for adaptable assemblies, which adapt to different types of structures, whether they are straight or curved.
· Maintenance: The parts that make up the scaffolding are built in high strength galvanized structural steel, which guarantees a long service life. They have a high resistance in any climate and can even be stored in the open air. They do not need to be painted and are highly resistant to oxidation or corrosion.
· Security: Its wedge connection system is highly secure. Their connections are straight, rigid and adjusted by means of concentric derivation of loads, allowing that all the parts that make up its structure do not present any instability. This allows a higher load capacity and makes them safer even at high altitudes.
· Armed: The use of a hammer is required for its assembly. When the system is being assembled, it is forced into three points that allow an appropriate adjustment, resistant to bending and preventing the structure from sliding. Its distribution prevents it from disarming easily even without having adjusted the wedges.
Components of a Ring Lock scaffold
Base plate or leveling base
These adjustable bases are installed on the surface on which the scaffolding will be assembled to ensure the leveling of the structure.
They are adjustable wheels that allow the movement of the structure and are used instead of base plates to move it over the surface. The scaffolding should not be moved if there are people in it.
Base element for the assembly of the scaffolding from which the assembly of the verticals begins.
They provide vertical scaffolding support. They have a Ring Lock rosette every 50 cm which serve to join the horizontal and diagonal elements. They have a spike on each end for connection to another vertical.
The Ring Lock system allows multidirectional connections according to the type of construction.
The horizontals are the elements that join the rosettes to give shape to the structure. They are also used to build railings.
The diagonals are those that send the loads to the vertical, giving rigidity and stability to the scaffolding.
The platforms are non-slip sheets made of steel, which allow the person to move inside the structure.
The stairs have anti-slip steps, which allow access to the different levels of the scaffolding.
There are other elements that are used in different structures according to the type of task to be performed, such as skirting boards, cantilevered supports, spikes, terminals, presses for beams and fasteners.
