This little guy is called a Superhero Sleep Buddy. I stumbled across a brand called Scamp and Dude via the amazing world of social media whilst looking for a Superhero top/outfit for Freddie for baby sensory. I loved their clothes on a serious level! I read the part of the website 'about me' and the philosophy behind the brand I loved even more. The motto is 'a Superhero has my back' and the lady created it after becoming ill and being hospitalised for a prolonged time, having to leave her children. She then decided to create a brand to offer comfort and security to children. The clothes have a Superhero lightening bolt on and the general idea is the know someone is looking out for them. I contacted the owner and told her what a beautiful philosophy and told her a little about Freddie. In return she said she wanted Freddie to have one of her Superhero Sleep Buddies so he doesn't feel lonely when he's in hospital. They are designed to place a photo in the back of who they may miss/is looking out for them. I cried at her kind, and generous, gesture. For everyone sold she donates one to a child in need. When I returned home Friday to pack our overnight things I grabbed his buddy and the first photo I found was one of our little family taken at my brothers wedding. He's been on Freddie's hospital bed since we came to the ward. Master Freddie Cheese, not only does a Superhero have your back but you are also a Superhero yourself
