Daniel owns a small horse ranch just outside of Austin, where he runs a bed and breakfast. Guests are invited to spend their days taking the horses out on trail rides, enjoying a dip in the pond behind the barn, or simply relaxing on the front porch with a cold beer. At night, Daniel provides each guest with his close personal attention.

Today a Video of Scotty dancing appeareed on my insta feed and I saw that Oscar liked it. And then I snooped a little and there is actually quite a bit of liking and commenting going on. So now I had to think about you and how you write Scotty a lot. Scotty who always kept Daniel secret but goes public with the younger Australian, who also kinda replaced Daniel at McLaren.

Maybe Maxiel? Daniel being really sad and Max being the hero.

Every video Scotty ever posted of Daniel have him being mean or negging Daniel in some way. No one ever made the connection that they were dating because why would Scotty treat his boyfriend that way. And why would Daniel accept it???

And then Oscar is liking and interacting with every video like he’s trying to get Scotty’s attention.

Daniel’s seen Scotty on his phone more recently. He’s been distracted a lot too. Daniel isn’t stupid, he knows the signs. Scotty isn’t subtle. And his playbook hasn’t changed since he was cheating with Lance’s sister.

It was stupid of Daniel to take Scotty back after be cheated. Daniel knew it, Max reminded him when Daniel had confided that the thought Scotty was cheating again.

He watched Max from the couch while he played FIFA, Daniel had been scrolling through his photos? Trying to see where he went wrong. Why was it that he wasn’t enough anymore. He was planning to leave Scotty but he was also pissed off because he couldn’t catch a break.

Scotty was supposed to be his refuge and here he was flirting on main with the kid that’s been benefiting from Daniel’s fall from grace. His seat wasn’t enough.

Daniel looked at an old video of Scotty kissing Daniel’s neck, grinning at the camera and telling Daniel he loved him. Daniel clenched his jaw, finger hovering over the video.

“Stop moping if you don’t plan to leave him.” Max mumbled, bumping Daniel’s shoulder. Max meant well, he hated to see Daniel upset and he didn’t hesitate to tell Daniel how he deserved better. Max was right, he did deserve better. And he was going to take better, and if Scotty thought he could just do what he wanted and Daniel would just roll over, not this time.

Daniel scoffed and posted the video to his story before turning off his phone. Then stood and straddled Max’s lap.
