I'm not your anon, but it's the first time I've ever seen someone who has similar running away experiences with the cops as me. I did exactly the same thing in middle and high school and had similar(ish) run ins with "officers of the law" and their vehicles and cuffs. It sucked; sorry, yo.

i feel you friend. it made me terrified of police officers. i don’t trust people who wouldn’t believe a tiny little girl that home wasn’t safe, that wouldn’t help her. like isn’t it your job to protect people? to this day whenever i pass one walking or driving, even if i’m not doing anything wrong whatsoever, i often have a panic attack.
