It was! I’m super proud of that group. We started in 2013 with like 20 people and now the facebook comm has +280 ^^ We’re more of a social group than a collective, but we do also talk about feminism and gender, and build solidarity between us as a support network, AND! we’re trans inclusive ;3 Last night’s party was wild tho, it’s been ages since so many of us were in the same place >w<

what do you do when you’re sad?: usually the first order of business is just cry until I tire myself out, then have a nap and some tea and by then it usually doesn’t seem so disastrous?

what are some things you do when you can’t sleep? huff and roll around and get frustrated... honestly I’m so bad at this. One summer I self medicated with a bunch of OTC sleep aids and that was. dont do that.

what was the best (non-romantic) night you’ve had? The Wavves concert I went to last year was amazing, I got to talk to Nathan Williams, (ok it was like five seconds of me saying great show and him saying thanks) and they played so many of my faves. There was also... ok... the gala dinner at the first academic conference I went to... all the young academics snuck out to smoke and talk about anime behind the building and then we got smashed and tried to do ceilidh dancing.

what kind of covers do you have on your bed? blue with pictures of robots. they’re intended for like 8 year old boys. clearly I get laid a LOT.

who is the last person you told a secret to?last night I was shooting shit with a fellow person who does tech-related shows and we shared a lot of ways we’d hackily made things work that we’d never admit professionally.

yeah I guess... idk I’m just a private sort of person so announcing it like this sort of expected performance for straight people (made even more complicated by being bi but not really into men as in masculine cis men, like this is way more than I want to share with any straight person) goes against every way I go about forming relationships and friendships like... either ppl catch on that I date and/or check out whoever the heck I want by observation or they just don;t because they’re dense or in denial so... whatever
