“Safe” is a relative word - Perhaps, if he was more aware at the moment, Mario would be more appreciative he didn’t conk out during the most recent trip to rescue Princess Peach. Instead, near hours after coming home from doing so, the sleep Mario’s denied himself has caught up to Mario.
He’s asleep, half hanging out of one of the kitchen chairs. As Luigi approaches, his position makes him slide out. And. Mario just flops onto the floor. He snores.
