AN EXTENSION TO THIS. I mentioned a gang. I’ve spoken to you about this, but I’ve left it vague because that is just my style. 

But, ok. There are two gangs. One that isn’t a gang, but more like a band of misfits and then there is the one one above them. The bridge between them is Joey. 

The band of misfits are just High School seniors/sophomores who on the surface are the ones who throw the red cup parties. They are also the ones who are the grief of those who have their shops tagged and shit stolen. But they are also the ones who bring a bat to the negotiation table and the ones that make you walk on eggshells bc their grins tell you everything and you know you saw a flash of a switch blade on their person. You don’t mess with them. 

The group above them however, they aren’t someone you want to remotely interact with. They are the ones you avoid eye contact every time you happen to pass them, for two reasons: you don’t want to catch their attention and you don’t want others to believe you associate with them. 

Why does Joey bridge them? Because Joey is the supplier/courier. He sells and offers samples at parties and generates clients. That in itself is dangerous, but everyone is too scared to even do anything about it. 

And now that I further think on it, consider this. Joey is a fun guy/cool guy, until you wrong him, in any way, you won’t know what you did either. But you know he is probably connected to bad ppl. For this reason, no one has said anything. Better safe than sorry. 

Another thing to point out, its not as if Joey is a PRIZED possession, but he on a good side with the main boss because of his skills.
