“Okay-” Jenna said with a bit of a firm but quiet tone in her voice as soon as she found the boy she recognized from her house sitting at the table with the book she needed for her class right in front of him. “Listen, I get that some people study at rates slower than most but you can’t still be looking through that book for the assignment that we have coming up- I just need it for a few pages an hour at most and you’ve had it for most of the day!” It was the only copy that the library had and of course her own personal copy had been something she had forgotten at home so it wasn’t going to do her any good there. He had to be willing to give it to her for at least a little while. She hoped anyway.
