Sting laughed at her response, he was already half-way out the door when she texted. He plucked a coat off the hanger, waved goodbye to the guild and practically ran out. Not bothering to come up with an excuse, there's only one place he'd be going with such enthusiasm and everyone knew it. 

Almost an hour later, he pulled his phone out and sent Lucy a message. He'd wanted to text her during the ride, since that would have kept him entertained, but an obnoxious train moderate demanded that he put his cell phone away. Muttering something about how it was 'distracting'. Bullshit. 

To: Star

   Great! His body buzzed with excitement, it'd been a few days since he'd seen Lucy. Them living in different towns was inconvenient, but necessary. He was a guildmaster and she loved her guild, so it didn't bother him much. Typing quickly, he pressed send and moved to get ready. 

To: Star

[Text]: I'm taking that as an invitation.

Laughing  Sting took a quick glance at the paperwork he should be doing and back at the phone. Typing in his response quickly he wondered how much trouble he'd be in if he let it sit here for a little while longer. 

To: Star

[Text]: It's a gift really. 

[Text]: I could do it in person if you'd like.

Shaking his head affectionately, Sting drummed his fingers against the screen. A disbelieving grin pulled against his lips and he rolled his eyes slightly before responding.

  Sting placed a hand over his mouth, trying to keep from laughing too loud. He didn't want to disturb anyone in the guild with his mirth. Content with his teasing, he figured he'd put her worries to rest. Smiling he typed in his response.

[Text]: Oookay then. [Text]:  You know, I admire her. She's a very dear friend, but that's all. Minerva and I are not, and never have been, romantic. Just in case you're wondering.

     He laughed, openly at her response. Deciding to let her off on her "Just curious" excuse, he pondered over what to say that might make her admit she was jealous. He doubted he'd be able to, considering how stubborn Lucy was, but he might as well try. He could ask if she wanted to hang out with Minerva as well... or maybe a blunt response would be best? Try to fluster the answer out of her? A wicked grin appeared on his face when he thought of something that'd be both hilarious and might actually work.

[Text]: I'm sorry. I should have realized you might get jealous. 

[Text]: Obviously you'd want to spend some time with M'lady as well. I can arrange for the two of you to meet up some time if you want? 

[Text]: I really didn't mean to make you feel like I was keeping her from you.
