um this is my second post on Tumblr and I’m seeing #adrichat everywhere, I’m so afraid but we are all so content starved it makes sense we are satiating ourselves with the most ridiculous ship possible.

My concept art for my Miraculous AU. To briefly sum it up Marinette a model under her strict mother who is the villain Madam Coco who is using the butterfly miraculous. Marinette has the cat miraculous. I changed their ethnicity to Japanese since akuma is Japanese word and I was also inspired by the Puccini opera Madam Butterfly for her mom. Marinettes father had mysteriously disappeared (something to do with the miraculous and family issues on her mothers side) and her mother is using the butterfly miraculous to get revenge and to bring her husband back.  I still haven’t come up with a name for Marinettes mom (she replaces the character of Sabine) but I think I will stick close to the butterfly theme. Adrien lives in a bakery with his parents who are the same as in the show (except Gabriel isn’t a jerk and cares for his son) along with his mom being alive. Here Adrien is in to designing and I decided to make him less gender conforming and unafraid to show his “feminine” traits. He takes some of Marinette’s traits from the show but also is still true to the original character, I still have more ideas but I am working on them currently, I really want to try to make a comic on this whole concept and make it more serious and dark.
