(hi, i just wanted to add to your theory about caliborn and calliope being the mirthful messiahs. you remember that part where caliborn is talking to whoever it was on his monitor station and gamzee throws up the keys. the guy on the other side said he was like a loyal dog bringing his master a dead bird, and being proud of it. also not to mention that gamzee looked all happy as hell while he got plugged up with bullets and then getting beat with a crowbar)

since Dirk is the Prince of Heart, how about the Rogue of Heart, and the Land of Tendrils and Shadows

Giant patches of shade cover the dark red ground that now surrounds your home. The earth is tough, but still able to be broken, like dirt in the middle of a dry summer.Giant, thorny tendrils, covered in deep red flowers, burst out of the ground and grow high into the sky, shadowing the land from most light.  Small amounts of light do get through the plant layer, and in these small patches, bright yellow flowers bloom, growing up towards the barely visible light of Skaia. 

Eventually, from discussion with your consorts and other game entities, you discover that not only can you climb up onto the tendrils, it is generally advisable to do so! The vines occasionally shift and move according a force on the planet, called The Soul. Mostly, The Soul is manipulated by the denizen of the land, Typheus, allowing him to crush anyone who dares resist him. However, if you can somehow wrest control of The Soul from him, perhaps you can use it to your advantage instead.

The Rogue of Heart is a rather odd role, as it essentially translates as "One who steals soul, and gives it to others". This would probably mean taking the very essence of an enemy and transferring it to others, allowing you to drain a creature of the personality, and make others more lively. This means that not only are you a compentent fighter, stopping enemies from having any sort of motivation to fight by draining away their soul, you also help to cheer up your team and make them more lively.
