One of my closest friends, Scar, has been going through a pretty bad time for the past few weeks. I've always seen her as such a tough, passionate, loving individual, and to see her so conflicted and depressed breaks my heart. 

I'm certain our friendship could last for years and years. That's how close we are. We just work so well together. We know almost every aspect about each other; how we'd act and react, our likes and dislikes. We could share a comfortable silence or ramble on about anything and everything. But recently I've been seeing her flame become ignited by blindingly hot rage and then dimming down almost immediately to a self-destructive mind set. It's horrible and even at times when I'm trying to support her I feel like I'm helpless.

Honestly, I love you Scar and I will always try to be there for you. Please know that. You'll get through this difficult phase, just like with every other towering wave you've encountered. And I'll be there next to you, helping and hoping with you along the way.
