lexie looked up from the sutures she was finishing. she had heard that there was a new surgeon in ortho, however she was still surprised when she paged for an ortho consult and it wasn’t CALLIE who responded. she wheeled herself back slightly, giving the other doctor more room. “ hi, you must be the ortho consult? ”

“is this going to take long? i need to be back by 7 for a rehearsal tonight.” it was a nightmare. one minute, lita was walking down the street on her way to grab a light dinner, and the next, she was hit by a car. before she knew it, she was rushed to the hospital on a stretcher with no feeling in her right leg. however, that wouldn’t stop her from being on time to rehearsal. leg or no leg, she’d be there. that is, if this doctor would let her go.

TAYLOR. 

         delicate finger maneuver the clamp to give the attending the access needed, she watches the older surgeon carefully, not wanting to miss a moment, with boards coming up she needs to clock a many O.R hours as possible, not to mention as many good outcomes as possible. she likes working with rollins, even if she was a little intimidated with her at first. 

           “ can i ask you something? ---” wilson begins, without waiting on confirmation that it’s okay to proceed she does anyway.

          “ how did you know? --- that the military was right for you? ” it wasn’t a route jo had considered before; but after EVERYTHING with alex and deluca she thinks maybe a fresh start is what she needs, after all running is what she does best.
