morning everyone i broke my 6am wake up streak as i needed to catch up on sleep. feeling kind of ehh today
I just found out about a scary hour, apparently its not torturing yourself with all kinds of scary things for an hour but rather setting a 60 min timer and doing all staff you've been avoiding doing. Id rather do 1st tbh
Alright, everyone, scary hour is starting in 15 minutes. Join me in answering terrifying emails and working on very overdue projects. The rules are simple: scream when the urge rises.
Tonight I'm gonna combine the Scary Hour concept I've been seeing on my dash with Operation: Pick Up Things on My Floor/Chairs/Couch/Etc. that Shouldn't Be There. Let's see how far I get.
(Especially with all the STUFF that subcutaneous IG requires that is now littering my armchair and the area around it. I'll have to move things around to make room for it somewhere. Not the bathroom closet because the immunoglobulin doesn't like it above 77F, and I don't have room anyway. Maybe I can clear out a drawer in my nightstand.)
My problem with de-cluttering is that as I create new homes for things I always, always run into stuff I need to move or throw out or otherwise make decisions about, and the decision-making exhausts me as much as the actual work. Has someone figured out a way around this? Aside from "bring nothing new into your home," which, fair, but not entirely practical.
About last night...
