I've been playing around with the map editor all day and I finally got it to do what I do. some basic rules I'd use are not to change the corner of your map. If your beaches face west you get a weird glitch when you make it face east. it won't break your game but it just won't look good. you can't move the waterfall in your town (the one on the cliff) as far as I'm aware so I kept the beginning of my river there and it worked out fine. It's such a great tool tbh. I'm so happy with my town now ee

Thank you for the tips! It seems the waterfall and town corner are only finicky for some people (yourself included evidently) but anyone editing should keep that in mind!

also sorry to post two questions at once :P are you planning on releasing your dream address any time soon now tht we have these hacks? your town on the ram editor looked so great I'd love to visit in a dream :D

I’ll be releasing it soon, I’m just trying to get a 10th villager to complete my town, then I’ll have to go clean up all those pesky fossils and stuff! But you can likely expect one today :)
