Shakira…
People across the pond suddenly very comfortable letting their ableism show bc a blind guy won a dancing competition. “It’s just a pity vote” why is he pitiful why would they pity him give me a three page essay
Chris McCausland going on Strictly out of spite to prove to ableds that disabled people can be part of things and fucking winning it is so beautiful
i was going to comment earlier on how i love how the backing dancers have costumes that resemble the main couple’s costumes but don’t overshadow them. except now they’ve just come out dressed as ketchup and mustard bottles so i feel like i need to retract that thought
The pros being adorable during the show:
Nancy absolutely whooping & cheering for Chris & Dianne!
Dianne getting emotional! 😭❤
And her Lemonade Stand story 🍋
Neil nodding along to everything Claudia was saying & picking streamers off of Johannes
Vito & his metaphor monologues 🌞
Katya & Luba's picture from Blackpool when they were kids
Carlos & Nikita doing a little dramatic scene after Wynne & Katya's dance
Gorka's bit before Pete's dance 🤣🔥
Aljaz on the rollercoaster
And all of them when the vote opened! 🎉
They really focus on the negatives with Jamie and I don't know why
It's always 'you're a great dancer but...' it's very frustrating and I think that foxtrot was gorgeous
Chris McCausland is SCDs 2024 🏆. People got emotional about him. People loved how he actually did dance although he was blind - like Rose Ayling-Ellis in 2021 who could dance while deaf. Dis you?
