Vanus returned to the Moon to look for Mannimarco. His anxiety spiked when he could not find him.
That is, until he saw the note.
Dearest Vanus,
Our recent argument has brought a question to my mind. Am I just this way or did something happen to me to make me so cold, so defensive especially to you, the only person I could ever love. So this question needs to be answered. I am not running away, throwing a fit or anything of the sort. I am using my time wisely to solve a problem that needs to be solved.
Am I rotten to the core, born evil or did something happen to me?
So I will be on Tamriel for a month. Most of my memories gone, without my godhood and learning. Speak to Mara. She is aiding me in this and will give you the key to get me back.
Remember, I do love you. But you were right, we can not carry on like this. I need answers.
Love, Manni
Tears filled Vanus's eyes as he read the note. Mannimarco did not often say the words "I love you." Not explicitly. He was trying. Trying to do better, trying to change.
He would need to speak with Mara, then. He would not restore Manni right away, but he would prefer having the ability to do so on hand.
