This scenic dendritic agate with it's rounded top and earthy colors reminds me of a cowrie shell washed up on the beach. The curves of the stone are too lovely to hide so I tried to keep my wire work fairly minimal in this piece. This style of agate stone is translucent and can range in colors and appearance. Often found as colorless to whitish-gray, the Scenic Dendritic Agate can also include a range of chalcedony quartz inclusions that make it easy to distinguish.
