oPhone - Scent based mobile messaging
Ever watched the food channel and wished you could smell what they were cooking? Now with oPhone, a device and app providing you with the ability for scent based mobile messaging, this may be a real thing in the near the future! This invention could start a trend of scent based social media. It is something that has the potential to spread across the world especially since we as humans respond so powerfully to aroma. Unlike social media like Instagram where we just take a picture and tag it with words that relate to that picture, we can now take a picture and tag it with scents so that others with oPhone can smell exactly what we're smelling! I know I would definitely become involved with this if I got the chance to. The sense of smell is a sense that triggers feeling and memories like no other.
