It sets me VERY off when Christians try to shame me for not being peaceful, and docile. Because Jesus himself experienced this kind of love, as it’s shown when he gets furious seeing all sorts of deviation around the temple itself, around his Father’s temple. Sometimes I feel like I’m the only Christian who remembers that part of the Bible. And it’s so dear to me; it’s the part of the Bible that solves how alienated I feel from my faith sometimes. I hate how Jesus is usually portrayed as this docile sheep, which he was sometimes, but why do we have to forget about the rest of him? All God, all Human. That’s how he’s described. Rage itself can be very Godly, and it’s absolutely Human as well. Why do we try to act like his anger was never there unless it’s to condemn queer people and women?
