I feel like I should apologize for all the nostalgia, but if I were giving advice to anyone else, I’d remind them they can post whatever the fuck they like on their own damn blog. 

So, here’s another manhattan, probably at Schiller’s as well, where their famous Jerry Thomas was my goto.

I just heard the other day that Schiller’s is closing. I might have to stop by tonight to create a few last ditch memories. It plays a nice little role in the novel I just finished, which will now be either obsolete or fit in with the theme exactly.

I miss Schiller’s more than most places that have vanished in the last few years. I have memories of being there with so many people I love so much.

We stopped by Schillers tonight on our way to @tdgpresents mixer. They’re closing in a few weeks, so we thought we might sneak downstairs to see if we could take some fun pictures before the end of the era.
