So.. T-Today's Valentine's Day and I just couldn't not give you anything. I wasn't s-sure about what I should get you, s-since I don't really know how those kind of things work anyway.. I've r-read you should give the one you love chocolate or roses. S-So I thought I could give you eatable roses. That w-way you have both. I-I made it myself. I-I know you're probably going to get a ton of those b-but I've tried my best. I-I hope you'll like it. I-I can still remember the first time we met a-and how you blatantly kissed me like i-it was nothing. Y-You were so cheeky and feisty. I-It's no wonder I fell for you now that I-I think about it. Abusive Ex: Soo x Xia AU

Xia Lu had finally snapped. Time and time again, Kyungsoo would come to him, beat up and bruised. He cry on his shoulder about how he hated his lover. Over and over, Xia Lu had to bandage his wounds and take him to the hospital. Yet, again and again, Kyungsoo would run back to their arms and their fist, letting them do what they wanted to him. Because he loved them. Kyungsoo had nearly died this time, falling down the stairs and smacking his head against the wall.

Xia Lu was in the hospital, sitting in a chair next to Kyungsoo, holding his hand as he slept. He had been knocked out for a while. The doctors had wanted to stick him into a coma, but his sudden recovery made them decide otherwise. He had a breathing tube down his throat though.

At some point after Xia Lu had nearly strangled Kyungsoo’s past lover’s throat for trying to see him, he had fallen asleep, clinging to his friend’s arm. He felt some people try and move him at some points during his sleep, but he didn’t move, so they eventually gave up. Then he felt the hand in his arm twitch and move.

“Kyung?” Xia Lu asked blearily. He sat up, staring at Kyungsoo. He was ok. The tube was out now and he looked concernedly at him. Tears sprang to his eyes. He was ok. He jumped up and wrapped his arms around Kyungsoo’s neck, crying. “Y-You’re ok!”

 “Soo,” He said, pulling away from the hug, staring into his eyes, “That’s it. You are not dating them again. Not this time. You need someone good in your life.”

“And who would that be?” He heard Kyungsoo ask. Xia Lu flushed and looked into his lap, holding Kyungsoo’s shoulder’s in his hands.

“M-Me.”
