01/09-16/16
09: planned to get up at 7:30 am but stayed in bed until 8:45 am, got ready for work and had a lot of time left over because i decided to shower when i got back from work, left early and went to starbucks to get breakfast, ate my egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich in rotofugi 20 minutes prior to opening LOL, the day went by really fast but it was pretty slow in the morning, i wore my jacket the entire morning because the store was not heated and it was so cold, kirby came by and fixed it and then so did the landlord and the maintenance guy later on in the day (shout out to kirby for bringing the heat in :D), i also got to cut labels for our valentine’s day sale in the back, took my lunch at 3 pm, ate leftover pasta and it was so good, had enough change to get myself a horchata too, whitney came by in the evening and we got started on making labels for the things on sale, we all make an awesome team and we got it doneeee, then i did the pick list and restock, it didn’t take all that long so we continue to label things as whitney put them on sale, whitney went to eat dinner with da fam, claire and i closed up for the day, it was a really nice day at the store besides being cold and everything, kirby called whitney to check on the furnace and asked her if i was still wearing my jacket; i felt so loved at that moment like mom and dad care about me kinda love :P, i said goodbye to claire until tuesday, got on the train and transferred to red line fairly quickly, waited for a the purple line a bit, got back to kevin’s and he came from his sf friends hangout to say hi to me and asked if i wanted to go and what to eat and etc, i chose to do pilates and shower, they went to eat ramen while i was working out so i had to figure out something to eat, wanted 527 sooooo badly but it was closed already so i settled for blaze, when i got there to pick up my pizza the cashier was so flippin’ sassy .___. i understand that you got a lot of online orders in under 30 minutes probably, and it’s about time to go home, but that doesn’t justify your attitude to customers! D:<, well i got it and went back to the apartment and ate it, contemplated my feelings, felt like i needed to write in my tumblr, idk why i’m feeling like i’m so alone right now...meh, watched fairytail, i’m excited for this arc!! i love mavis, watched an episode of fairly odd parents, kevin came back earlier than i expected haha, he did some work and played dota, i talked with tom for a bit, we both went to sleep sometime past 1 am.
10: definitely did not get up to do pilates but i did wake up at 7;30 am refreshed, i think i just didn’t want to get up ><, got up at like 9 am, changed, i don’t know what i did with my extra time because i decided to shower when i got back from work, i bundled up as much as i thought i should, omg i should have worn another pair of pants or something, got oatmeal from starbucks today, got to work early again, ate some oatmeal, i worked with mary today and today is the last day i am scheduled to work with her T__T, it was a somewhat slow day but for the most part there was a normal flow of people, what are ya’ll doing outside in one digit degree weather?!, we put up all the sale signs, the heater was working today (:, we both took early lunches haha, i had leftover blaze pizza and it is really floppy when you microwave it; it’s only good fresh, the evening was pretty slow, i went outside to mail something across the street and my legs were numb from the walk Dx, mary and i talked a lot about toys and asian snacks which made me want to have some, kevin was going grocery shopping so i settled for neopolitan ice cream instead of green tea ice cream and noose yogurt instead of all the other asian snacks i want haha, kirby stopped by to get dog food and check the heater situation, mary and i were scared and thought he was a robber because he came in from the gallery door and he was wearing a black beanie LOLOL, i did restock and got a box from the basement, we waited till it was 7 pm and closed up, i did the till and mary was like, “well this is one of the last times you’ll be doing it...“ LOL D:, bundled up and rushed out of the store because i didn’t want my legs to be numb again (thank you for closing up, mary!), i ran to the train station and timed my run, the brown line got there when i did, transferred to red and it got there when i did, but had to wait for the purple line for a couple minutes T_T, a kind man made some room for me underneath a heating booth, then he asked me about my phone, the lady next to us was giving us the estimated time of arrival, and it was nice talking to nice strangers, when i got off the purple line, i headed towards cvs to get “woman stuff” haha, i also got dish soap for only 99 cents and detergent because kevin was out, i got to the apartment as fast as i could, kevin was cooking dinner, i put away my stuff, made salad for us, and we ate, we made kale chips and had some neopolitan ice cream while we watched ‘silver linings playbook’, i didn’t like the movie much LOL; it was really overwhelming, we cuddled and i ended up falling asleep..., got up at 1 am?!, showered, figured out why i’ve been so moody hahahaha, and went back to sleep.
11: stayed in bed until like 11 am, got up and ate yogurt for breakfast, kevin came back from class and i fed him the other half, started watching ‘mind of a chef’ (sooo happy that this is on netflix), i’m planning to watch the all the episodes, kevin did some work and then i gave him a massage, he’s so sore all over from bouldering on saturday :P, i was forced to eat a real meal at around 2:30 pm, i digested a bit and then did blogilates, got my clothes from the room because kevin had an interview, showered, realized i didn’t bring any socks so i went sockless LOL, i was pretty bundled up and warm on the way to cozy noodles, i was the first one there and i waited for jeanne and tim to arrive, i got to talk to tim a bit before jeanne came from class, tim and i ordered the crispy pad see-ew and jeanne ordered the dumpling soup, we split crab rangoon, i also got a thai iced tea, it was really fun catching up with these two :>>, we decided on dessert and stopped by bennison’s, i got a few macarons for me and kevin to eat, we walked to forever yogurt and tim got some, the flavors right now are pretty terrible, we sat and talked a bit more and then i walked jeanne to her APO meeting, we said bye to tim a bit before, i hope i see these two again :D, got back to the apartment and was surprised my toes didn’t fall off, wondered where kevin was too, i felt like a detective because his wild card was on the table, his jacket was still on the sofa and his laptop and book bag were still in the room, like whut? where could he have gone? LOL, i texted him but it took a while for him to respond so in that time i changed and started watching ‘mind of a chef’ again and i had already eaten 2 macarons, turns out he was downstairs in jenny’s apartment playing bang (typical), he told me to come down and i changed and went downstairs, played 2 rounds of bang with the sf group and jack, it was nice seeing ted’s giggly self again, then we played a couple rounds of skyfall, i could have one my round T_T but i didn’t try to guess first (poops), jenny had to go to the library so kevin and i headed back, he looked over his contract -- kevin got a freelance job; waow, bf much potential haha, i did the dishes, started the laundry, kevin made a to-do list because he is now suddenly busy, we made pizza for kevin’s lunch tomorrow, he worked, i watched more ‘mind of a chef’ while finishing up laundry, i always ALWAYS re-fold all the clothes i have at kevin’s when it’s laundry time because the rack is too high for me so i end up throwing things up there .___. and it creates a mess, i have yet to figure out the best way for me to store my clothes here ahha, i folded all the clothes, put them all away, brushed my teeth, and went to sleep with kevin at like 1:30 am @_@
12: i told kevin that i would wake up at 8 am because he was joking around and teasing me about sleeping in...i obviously did not wake up at that time, i did get up at 10:15 am though, ate breakfast, updated my budget sheet and tumblr, still stressed about my apartment situation because i just want my month’s rent back for a VERY GOOD REASON =.=, i’m never rooming with people that i don’t know very well ever again, planned to work out before “lunch time”, started my letter project, it is so tiring but feels so good, i wrote 10 letters to friends before rq’ing, did pilates, showered, finished the first season of ‘mind of a chef’, switched over to watching the most recent pixar shorts series, frozen fever was soooo cute, washed the dishes, watched more netflix LOL and finally watched the entirety of ‘jiro dreams of sushi’, ate my leftovers from cozy noodles, helped kevin make burgers for late dinner, ate teh burgers (they were pretty good), finished up writing my letters; now i have to figure out how i will send them? i wanted to write them out by hand at first but i feel like some digital way would work better, started playing alpha sapphire on a whim, kevin was working the entire time and he came over and cuddled with me while he told me what to do LOLOLOL, he likes back seat driving when it comes to pokemon, he also kept trying to name my pokemon after different kinds of poop..., he finished up work for the day and then we played a bit more pokemon before going to sleep, not sure what time it was but it was probably past 1 and maybe it was 2 am.
13: woke up after kevin left, rolled in bed and then ate breakfast, checked bus times, edited my kickstarter campaign with sharon’s feedback, changed into outside clothes haha, told the greenpeace people i’m already donating to them and i got a high-five D: LOL I FEEL SO BAD STILL, got to the bus exactly on time, got back home and opened up daniel’s belated christmas gift to check if everything was a-okay, organized some stuff in my room, did pilates, had the best shower of the year so far: washed my hair, exfoliated my entire body and face, cleaned basically everything to get my dead skin off, moisturized, put on a face mask, trimmed my bangs, did a sugar/honey lip scrub, snacked on pineapple and hawaiian bread, watched pbs kids while working on my letters to friends digital mail design, momma lee cooked salmon and baby bok choy for dinner, helped my mom with the chromecast, stocked up on winter stuff and stuff i needed to get, brought food back to kevin’s, continued working on my letters, attached victoria’s baymax charm to my keys!!, sent out my letters and got such nice and warm responses from everyone (my friends are the best), talked to nluu, peter, victoria, tom, michelle, jeanne and more friends for the rest of the night, was pretty much energized after, ate kevin’s pasta with meatballs (yummm but not my fave), hand-wrote a letter for rotofugi and kristin, stomach started hurting so i called it a night and got into bed at like 1 or 2 am with teh bf. :>
14: got up at 10:30 am, sent my kickstarter in for approval, backed a couple of kickstarters, exercised, showered, ate lunch with kevin when he came back from class, watched youtube videos and the latest episode of ‘reign’, cuddled with kevin while he played a game on his phone for a bit, ate a bowl of cereal, took some surveys, updated my tumblr, made plans with jia and hillary to grab breakfast together tomorrow! :D, figured out plans with michelle, i’m not entirely sure what i did the rest of the day (i checked my email, calendar, etc; anything that would give me a spark but nothing!), i think i looked up jobs, watched more ‘mind of a chef’, kevin’s friend, sarah came over to get some of dat pasta luls, i ate my mom’s leftovers, felt super sleepy (maybe that’s why i don’t remember anything), kevin was working on stuff so i stood up and started reading ‘catch 22′; the tone of the text reminds me of ‘the catcher in the rye’ so i know i will enjoy reading this book, stopped at page 50, i think i played pokemon with kevin before sleeping, went to sleep at 1 am-ish.
15: woke up at 8 am, changed, hillary picked me up, we picked up jia, we all went to get breakfast at original alps, i got 2 eggs, hash, and toasted english muffin with butter and jam, the food was alright but the company was just amazing LOL, i missed jia and hillary soooo much, it was nice catching up but also making plans together for the future, these two girls have already finished up their college careers so they will be in chicago and be mostly free; hopefully i get to hang out with them again soon, we only spent 2 hours or so together but it was more than i could ask for (:, hillary drove me back to evanston, i got to eat lunch and chill with kevin for a bit before he left for class, showered, got ready to go out with michelle, walked over to apartment 2gud, talked with serene and michelle while michelle ate lunch, then we headed over to uniqlo, we talked and caught up and joked around; i love spending time with michelle; she’s definitely my twin from a parallel universe, we had this weird telepathy going on because we said and thought the exact same things multiple times throughout the day, like when we crossed the street with the crowd when the light was green, we both said, “THEY CAN’T HIT US ALL!” LOLOL, ridiculous, we got to uniqlo in one piece and looked at jeans, flannel, leggings that we either not on sale or sold out in black ):, and everything basically, we tried things on and we ended up buying the same flannel ;DD, we headed over to h&m and i bought a blanket scarf and two statement necklaces for only $15 in total!!, michelle bought a necklace for 77 cents (best deal ever), went through american girl...and into water tower, i bought red mango because i was craving GOOD frozen yogurt, shopped at forever21 and tried activewear on (that was the only thing we were interested in), i got 2 sports bras for only $7, i got hungry so we ate at chick-fil-a, well i just ate but it was super yummy, we went back to uniqlo so that michelle could use her $5 that she forgot to use before which means that she had to return and then repurchase her flannel, then we took the red line back and i went over to michelle’s to bake, we wanted to make apple pie at first but it would take too long so we made salted chocolate chip cookies (they were very yum), we tried watching michelle’s beloved asian drama, ‘our time’ but when nluu and kevin came over, they made a game out of throwing small things at serene’s plush in the living room LOL, i can still say that i suck at throwing, we played bananagrams with a theme, when serene and michael came back they introduced us to a new game using the tiles but it was so silly and difficult, i could not keep up, we cleaned up, kevin, nluu, and michelle played a round of slapjack, and then kevin and i headed back so i could change and go to sleeeeeeep. zzzzz.
16: managed to get up at 8 am and do pilates, shower, eat breakfast, and then head out to work, left a bit later but got to work right on time, it was a pretty busy day but it felt really slow for some reason, claire and i made some more signs for the sweetness sale, i ordered pad thai from jim’s noodles for lunch, looked up jobs and e-mailed two of my professors for any suggestions and help, cleaned fugi’s pee & poop; this dog did his thang in the store multiple times today and we don’t know why, made plans to grab dinner with kevin at four belly, did the restock, closed up shop, couldn’t let kevin inside the store so we waited for our uber outside, it only cost $5 to get to the place huhuhu, the decor of the place was so nice and the things on the menu sounded so good, unfortunately the food was gross :<<, i only liked the frog legs but they were so tiny and were not worth the $7 or so we paid for them, the service was also pretty shoddy, we ordered a good amount though: kimchi jigae with beef, frog legs, the 5-way intersection for their skewers, yakisoba, and black sesame ice cream, thai ice tea, and thai ice tea boba, kevin didn’t really like anything at all, i thought the black sesame ice cream was pretty good too, got a uber back to evanston, played pokemon together for the rest of the evening ((((:, it’s so much fun playing pokemon with kevin haha, alexa actually knows how to play pokemon songs but we couldn’t get the right station with all the cool pokemon soundtracks, i got really tired at around 12 am and we stopped playing, kevin went back to work, i fell asleep on the bed LOL, woke up at like 1 am, got ready for bed, went to sleep at like 1 something am, kevin stayed up to do some work but eventually went to sleep...at some time that i do not remember; i was so pooped.
