Tell us about your favorite pokemon memory

I guess my favorite pokemon memory is an expansion of another pokemon memory so
Backstory: Pokemon Gold was my first pokemon game I ever played and I played it so much that the save battery died and I still played even after that. It’s also the first game I beat in the series and since then, Johto, and its pokemon, have always been my favorite
So when Heartgold was in my hands and I watched the opening of it and received a little Cyndaquil for my first partner, I was tearing up majorly
The moment that made me start crying like the tiny five year old I was when I first played Gold version, was when Cyndaquil followed closely behind and looked so happy to be by my side
