I was rewatching School for Traitors and just noted that the villain Claire has a gigantic eyeball painted on her front door.

Now, I’m not saying that Emma was patterned after Claire, even though the two of them have both the door eyeball and the artistic bent in common, but maybe this explains Steed’s animus towards the eyeball that Emma has on her apartment door. Maybe it’s because whenever Steed sees the eye on Emma’s door it makes him think of Claire, and he’d rather not think of her at all.

I love how Steed knows exactly how gorgeous he is, but he isn’t stuck up about it. In fact he seems to be kinda amused by it, which is very sweet.

I love that Steed could actually get the element of the surprise here, but that is secondary to getting to be smug.
