If you ever wondered what teenagers in 1974 looked like.
(featuring Cragmont root beer under the pingpong table, and the brown poodle beside the chairs was named Dum-Dum.)
It had been a long time since Caroline had been forced to fight for her life. Maybe too long; her instincts were rusty, and the months without her powers had left her even more out of practice. But the Salvatore school was her home, it was her children’s home, and there was no way she was letting it be taken over without a fight.
The creatures she faced down wasn’t something she recognized, looking more like a fairy tale than real life. Trying to decipher what it was took second priority, though, behind avoiding the teeth and claws it was lashing out with in all directions. “Get away from them!” she shouted, hurling herself into it to buy the nearby students some time. “Pedro, take the others to the main hall! Find Dr. Saltzman, okay? Go now!” There was enough time to get the words out before she was tossed across the hallway and into one of the unforgiving walls.
She groaned as she forced herself up, staring the thing down as the sound of footsteps and a voice approached from behind her. “If you’re not here to help me kill this thing, you should probably run. Right now,” she called, without even looking back. “Go find the others.”

“Everyone please stay calm.” Alaric was trying his best to keep order in the school it was bad enough that he had worried and scared children, he didn’t need the same from the adults within the building. “Our witches will be reenforcing the protection spells we had in place before the hiccup with magic. We just need to offer them some time.” Alaric hated the idea of bringing out weapons but knew this day or one similar would come some day. “I’m gonna have to open the armory.” He says mostly to himself with a soft sigh.

“Piece of crap!” Jackson shouted as his phone made the same annoying tone all over again. Ever since the shit had quite seriously hit the fan, he’d been cut off from Hayley. It was bad enough that his pregnant wife was out there somewhere by herself, but the fact that he didn’t know where, or whether she was hurt or worse, was making him sick with worry. From what little word they were getting the monsters that had swarmed the town were nearly everywhere, which meant there was little chance she’d been able to evade them. Add that to his concern for Hope and there was little room left for anything but more worry.
Turning, Jackson whipped the phone against the wall, where the ridiculous case Hope had insisted on getting him cushioned the blow and it fell unharmed to the floor of the school. He stared disbelieving at it for a long moment before he shook his head. “Can’t even do that right.”

So, when you had to do a group assignment and the other kids would say “do you want to be the person to write the stuff down? Your hand writing is so pretty. I don’t like my hand writing”, …
That was just them not wanting to write the notes wasn’t it.... 😐
Stories from me, your average lesbian #30:
my schools gsa started again today and dude let me tell you, there were so many freshmen and I was so happy and a bit jealous of how open they were about themselves. Like I wish I had that confidence when I was their age and even now. There’s not really much a joke here but I thought this was important. That’s all folks.
