Can we talk about how in almost back to back scenes in school hard they had a line of blood smeared on spikes cheek and then a line of red paint smeared on Buffy’s?? I know at this point spike was still meant to be a temporary character but WOW were they fated right from the jump

Spike smiling at all the other vampires while Dru talks about planting daisies is so cute. He is like: yeah, that's my girl, everything she puts in the ground withers and dies. Isn't she just the best?

school hard is such a fun and good episode, and honestly it's quite hard to believe that they didn't have any spuffy planned from the beginning because that episode is rife with foreshadowing... but my top moment from that episode is this exchange and the implications™ of it:

the fe fi fo fum line really sticks out in my mind when i think of this episode,,,,because like wth is that supposed to mean spike? SPIKE!!?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!

and the laying down of weapons in their first fight! right from the jump!! the flirting is off the fucking charts ohmygod

and ummmmm now i need to watch grosse pointe blank because what exactly are you alluding to mr writer sir?? based off of the trailer i just watched i am picking up very specific vibes, sir
