Hello there! Admin Pretz here~ Hope you enjoy this, sorry if this is short. Me being scared of the dark can relate to this >.< BTW if you don’t know what I mean by ‘innocent’ smile, it’s the first episode we meet sonic and he does that smile. If you don’t know google it. Anyway enjoy!

You smiled contently as you sat down on your sofa, hot chocolate in hand, blankets wrapped around you, along with Sonic, and ready to watch your favourite show.

That was until the power died down.

You squealed and hid under the blankets, clinging on to Sonic, shielding you from the demon known as the dark.

You got your phone and turned the torch on from it, furiously pointed at corners of the room, as if checking if something was lurking there. “Why does my mind always think of scary things in the dark?!” you questioned yourself. Slenderman, ghosts, and anyother monster you know was on your mind, scarying you even more than you already are.

“You’re scared of the dark?” Sonic said, fighting the urge the laugh. Then he looked at your face, which had pure horror on it. He sighed and wrapped his arms around you, kissing your  temple. “It’s alright, I’m here for you. I promise I won’t let nothing happen to you” Sonic reassured, hugging you tighter. You smiled and snuggled up to his warmth, you felt safe in his arms. All those scary thoughts you had vanished, now replaced with contempt.

“I love you. There’s no need to be afraid anymore, I’ll scare the demons away for you” Sonic said.“All you have to do is your ‘innocent’ smile at them” you said, giggling. Sonic didn’t find that funny, instead he gave you a deadpan face.“What’s wrong with my innocent smile?” he asked, narrowing his eyes. You just giggled and snuggled into him, making him smile a bit. He hugged you even tighter than before, resting his chin on your head.

“I’ll always keep you safe” he promised.
