I assume the critique I received is some ways invalid as a)they don’t understand cartoony animation b) none of the teachers who evaluated my short are from animation, they are all live film people lol. c) they are old farts (sorry they just always judge all the new stuff... I once showed a clip from WOY in front of the class and the teacher immediately judged it) d) I MADE ART IF IT DIVIDES OPINIONS LIKE THIS
e) I absolutely am proud of my animation, which is rare of me to be about an art piece I created.
f) They said jaws’ dropping on ground cartoon -trope is something sexual (wtf?! It is mostly used when the character is utterly confused/shocked/surprised... I’m laughing! The character in classic cartoony thing would drool and change into a wolf-whistler if it sees someone attractive)
g) that comment they said I mentioned in the previous point makes their whole critique unreliable/quite ridiculous.
