Anyway, apart from struggling with unsuitable job, I am active in comic field nevertheless! Four comic festivals this autumn/early winter, exciting! Also one in Treviso, Italy! I haven't been afford to travel abroad for 8 years, so this feels special. I am a guest artist there so they pay my plane ticket and accommodation, so cool! That is in like two weeks, oh myyy. My first professional artist trip abroad.

I also finished one comic zine in record time (this time in Finnish because it has some rhyming that I would need maybe some native speaker to translate into English and still rhyming, haha!), I am not sure how since the current day job takes most of my time and energy plus my dog needs attention too, haha. I am super happy with the result and excited to sell it in events. It is a short story related to my upcoming comic series I am working on.

I started a new job on Monday. Still not related to my degree/art in the slightest, but job market is just horrible in Finland right now, so much unemployment. Also better work environment than in my previous horrible job. Also nicer hours, every day from 11:45 to 5pm, no more early mornings! Easier for a dog owner for sure too since my dog can be home alone during my work days.

My workmates are in their early twenties (except the team leader guy who is 20 years older than me). They all seem very chill so far. I hope I can handle the work and have energy for drawing comics. I decided to dedicate Sundays for my artist work. Also next Friday I start a new hobby: clownery! (You know, sort of like theatre hobby but hopefully not too intense)

Yay, only 8 workdays left of my job! Few weeks and I'm free and on a summer holiday! Can't wait to recover. Also kinda wanting to rewatch Gravity Falls after such a long break.
