Hi everyone! I’m Lea, currently a junior in high school, and this is my new study blog. I’ve created this blog to document my progress mostly and gather resources for future reference. This is technically a primary blog so that my messages are open, but the blog I mostly use is my main one, so I don’t follow a lot on here.

I was a C-D student for a long time

I want to become a neurologist, and if not that, I’d like to work with animals in some way

I’m hoping to be able to document a lot of my community service because as of now I have close to 0 hours!

I’ve got two dogs and a cat

I’m fluent in French, Spanish, and English and have traveled to many (still too little for me!) countries

here are some english notes regarding tragedies in shakespeare’s plays, i’m currently reading hamlet in english. reading shakespeare’s plays would be way more enjoyable if i could actually understand what’s written 🙄

Back to School!

School will be here in less than a month now where I live ;( So here’s my tips! 

Supplies

What works for you? (you don’t have to follow what “looks nice” )

Binders & tabs

Notebooks (Staples usually has great deals)

Turn in cartridges for credit!

Eating: 

Start finding little snacks you like 

Fruits and veggies can be prepped the night before

Buy what’s on sale to save money

Look on the internet for new ideas! 

Workspace

Clean it off now!

Find a style that works for you (minimalistic or not!) 

Organize whatever you use the most on your desk

Classes

See if you find a syllabus or someone that has taken it before

What books are needed? 

Find out where they are now

Lookup study guides 

The week before if you have questions reach out to your teacher!

Sleeping

Get that sleep schedule on track

Use apps like Bedtime or Sleep Cycle

Make sure to not use electronics at least an hour before

Clothes

Check when is tax free weekend in your area and take advantage of it

Many stores offer discounts for signing up for their mail list

Buy some plain shirts that can easily be used for multiple outfits (with a cardigan, or a skirt, or jeans) 

Focusing

Use apps like Tide (my personal favorite- its free), Forest (It’s paid), or Be Focused (free)

Remember to give yourself a break 

Put away or turn off distractions

Beauty

Please, please, please don’t just use any diys on the internet some of them are too harsh for your skin

Drink lots of water and sleep at least 7 hours

Remember to remove any makeup 

Clean your face with a gentle cleanser twice a day and dry off with a clean towel each time

Also, since I’ve been more active recently, I’ll try 100 days of productivity. Hopefully this will help me spend summer wisely haha
