12.03.2019: Haven’t posted any original photos in what seems like decades... I guess I have just been a bit overwhelmed with everything uni-related, because I don’t really enjoy my current courses and it’s a struggle to even sit down and read course materials because I loose focus and am already too far behind, which stresses me out like hell. Well, at least I’m currently home and can annoy my dog while scream-crying into my granola bowl and passive-aggressively trying to get my shit together! (and I finally started to use my camera again to take some early-morning pictures of my coffee when the lightning in my kitchen was absolutely beautiful!) Hope you all have a cool day,  Amber :)

i spent the entire day yesterday in starbucks studying for my public speaking and information literacy class. i absolutely love it in here because it’s so bright, and everyone that sits for a while is also studying. how was everyone’s day so far?

hello studyblr! i’m oliver, it’s nice to meet you all! i’ve been on studyblr for a few years now, but i haven’t really joined the community fully (ignore the fact that this is my 2nd introduction post - i’ve rebranded okay). so, i figured there’s no better time than now to jump right in!

about me:

interests:

reading -- please recommend me some books! i love fantasy novels <3

writing poetry + prose

learning new languages! (rn i’m trying to learn korean + japanese... it’s not going very well...)

video games :D esp. love animal crossing, fantasy life, + pokemon!

watching anime / netflix / k-dramas

listening to music (send me recs!)

kpop! my ult is bts but i listen to + love So Many Groups 

playing clarinet - both solo and ensemble

i like psychology, history, english, and astronomy!

academics:

i’m enrolled in the dual credit program at my hs, so i’m taking college classes to get both hs & college credit!

currently taking american literature, college algebra, and american government (also astronomy but it’s not a college course)

don’t know for sure what i want to study in college but i’m debating between creative writing/psychology/music and minoring in maybe korean? or some other language i want to be multi-lingual one day

why studyblr?

i’ve spent years reading and saving all kinds of tips and tricks, but i’ve never really put them into practice. i hope that being somewhat active will help me to accomplish my goals and help me be more mindful (and stop procrastinating - which i’m currently doing writing this post)
