📚 From One littleLodge ➡️ To community care:
Three years ago, our small Astoria Masonic lodge thought we were just helping one classroom in Queens with backpacks. We packed them to every teacher’s checklist, delivered them with love, and thought that was it.
But the community showed up in a way we never expected.
Here’s why it matters:
these aren’t ordinary supply drives. The kids in these classrooms are facing homelessness or deep financial struggle. Without notebooks, pencils, or paper, they can literally be pulled from class and forced to change schools mid-year. A backpack of supplies isn’t “stuff.” It’s stability. It’s dignity.
