Though, in his early years of dabbling in politics he found the sword more suited to his untrained eye. Though he began with noble reasons to lift the steel blade, it soon turned into personal gain.
This, however, was not troubling to him. He had accepted a lack of purity and the hunger for superiority, to find his blade deep within the rulers heart and take what was rightfully his in gold. Although he had accomplished something of the sort, merely ending the life of a tyrannical king to a small sum of land hadn't fed his necessity fully.
Hand over reigns, he neared a larger prize. That is until a familiar scent of sanguine liquid consumed his senses.
