Cell Block B. Cubicles instead of cells.
The building have large identifying letters, I would guess the first floor area to be 16,000 square feet. The prison closed June 30, 2013.
The building has two big hall, both with two stories. Prisoner cubicles on three sides, each cubicle for four prisoners.
If you had the top bunk, you could reach over into the next cubical top bunk.
During overcrowded conditions I expect more bunks were added in the common area.
This may be the last day (Sunday, August 6, 2023) for public access to the abandoned prison. The company, Big House Produce, is in a legal battle over their lease.
