PALAU
This National Geographic special looks at the discovery of human bones in this Pacific island nation, bones which appear to be those of a separate, smaller species of humans surviving into modern times. This could be compares to the discovery of a smaller species on the Indonesian island of Flores. The claims made herein are at least somewhat scientifically controversial, and the documentary sort of leaves off at relatively early stages of the scientific process, but I found it interesting to watch an expedition into a remote jungle in general, and enjoyed watching the scientists work with each other.
