Meet Gale’s Science in Context!
What’s inside: Have you ever used Opposing Viewpoints? Science in Context is like that, but it focuses on scientific concepts and scientists rather than controversial issues. It gathers up statistics, academic journal articles, news and magazine articles, websites, and more! Major categories include: biographies, biology, chemistry, earth & environmental science, general science, health & medicine, math, engineering, & technology, and physics & astronomy.
What’s it good for: Quickly getting on overview of a concept as well as finding related resources to browse makes this a nice place to kickstart some research for your STEM classes.
How to access: If you’re on-campus, the link above will take you straight through. If you have left campus for some unlikely reason (...), you’ll be taken straight to a log-in page where you’ll need to provide your 14-digit library barcode number from the back of your student ID.
