One thing Robin had noticed working at the library was the abundance of individuals that didn't take out books at all. Rather, they simply greeted her at the desk; declined her offers for assistance fairly enough; went to sit at the available seats and desks in order to read from strange...glowing things. Tapping at keys with letters scrawled on them but all the while their eyes were glued to those screens that illuminated with an expanse of colors and hues, words and numbers.
And now, another person had come into the library to do the same. But on this day the facility was facing a drought that left Robin reviewing a plethora of tomes on kitchen appliances and how to use them (for which she would suggest that the microwave oven be a revered, cherished national treasure) that begun to grow tedious.
Reading of spells and tactics were one thing, but learning of modern technologies? Robin found it optimal to ask someone who had experience themselves. And thus was how the mage found her self next to the woman with pink tinted spectacles, keenly staring at the screen in front of her.
"Forgive me for intruding, but what is that?" A simple question. A forward question that probably sounded unorthodox, but eventually Robin would have to throw her pride out of the window if she wanted to learn anything from these people.
