Nyx gave her a grin, fixed his hold on her more securely, and threw the kukri and warped after it. He was instantly looking for the next spot, “No time to rest this time.”

He warped them three more times before he felt they were in a safe enough position to rest a bit, “How you doin’?”

They were now two-thirds of the way back to the train station, pretty soon they were going to have to touch the ground again, and find their way onto the train to Accordo.

Nyx smiled at her, he’d noted her confusion before it cleared. “Nothing’s worse yet. But, come, she’ll want to see you herself.”

He turned slightly away, ignoring the MT and began walking towards a scattering of buildings in the distance, one hand still holding one of hers. His goal was to get them out of sight and hearing so that he could get rid of the unwanted guest.

He wasn’t about to let either of them break character until they were divested of the MT and on a moving train, headed far away from Gralea. Well, okay, he would technically break character to take care of the MT... but as he doubted the MT was the only precaution Niflheim had taken to ‘keep her safe’ he wasn’t about to do anything more than quickly take it out and move them along.

He liked her pluck, “Just hold onto me. You’ll be fine.”

He began moving them down the length of the roof, watching for watchers and a good spot to warp from. He was honestly surprised she was doing so well. But, it was a good thing, it made getting out of here a bit easier.

Finding a place to warp too on the roof of a nearby house he looked down at her, “Ready for another go?”

Nyx grinned and summoned a kukri to his hand before throwing it up to the top of the warehouse and warping after it with Celene in tow. Luckily there was no one there, and no cameras that he could see.

He stopped to check on Celene before deciding anything else, “How you doin’? We’ll need to walk to the far end of the warehouse, and I’ll pick a spot to warp to from there.”

He hoped she wasn’t going to throw-up, but, he knew most people did. Better to get it out now, where they wouldn’t get caught.

Nyx gave her an understanding smile, “I won’t let anything hurt you. That’s a promise.”

He would never let down his King, and Regis had entrusted this woman’s safety to him. He reached out and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her close to his side. “I’ll need you to hold onto me okay?”

A half-smile graced his face at her shock, “Sorry. I’ll warn you now, the first time someone warps, they generally throw up afterwards. And warping others besides yourself, isn’t a common ability. But, it’s the only way I’ll be able to get us back to the trains without people commenting on how we no longer have an MT with us.”

He waited a bit for her to register all of that before asking, “So, do you think you’re up for it? I’ll have to warp us several times. It’s honestly going to suck unless you get a high off of it.”

Nyx hid his smile when the MT followed them, he squeezed her hand gently and simply strolled beside her, continuing to head toward the outlying buildings. He pointedly looked back at the MT with a raised brow and turned back to her with a quirky smile, “Guess the bigwigs you work really care for your safety. It must be nice.”

He could feel her shaking and hoped that if the MT was capable of noting it, that it would be put down to nerves over ‘Wanda’. They were passing between the first of the buildings now, and he could sense people looking at them out the various windows. He kept them to the same pace, and made for what appeared to be an old warehouse on the outskirts. It wasn’t a direct route, as going out to a warehouse to see a sick friend really didn’t make any sense, but he could see there wasn’t too much space between the last house and the warehouse. He planned to cut around the farside of the house, which thankfully appeared dark and abandoned.

They cleared the house, and nothing but the MT followed them out past the warehouse. There was nothing but open valley past the warehouse though, so, after making quick checks to make sure the warehouse had no obvious video security or people watching... Nyx stopped and turned to the scientist and grinned. He waited for the MT to stop before letting go of Celene’s hand he walked behind the MT and summoned his kukri right into the mechanicals and wires at it’s back, severing the head from the armored body.

“So, doc, you ever warped before?” Nyx grinned at her. He would have to warp them back in increments so that the locals wouldn’t notice that the two people who had been being followed around by an MT, suddenly weren’t being followed around by an MT anymore.

Nyx had read over the scientist’s dossier several times, he had her face memorized, and knew that there were no code words or phrases for this. He was to go into enemy territory, and bring back, well, an enemy. He was to go undercover, no Glaive uniform, no Galahd trademarks.

It physically pained him to unbraid his hair and cover his tattoos with makeup. But, Regis had entrusted him with this mission, and he wouldn’t fail him. He wasn’t the ‘hero’ for nothing. He arrived in regular clothes, the same as any found in Gralea or Tenebrae. He found the woman easily enough, the MT with her was an obvious marker.

“Celene!” He walked right up to her and took her hands in his own, “I’m so glad you could make it on such short notice. Wanda will be so happy you could come visit.”

They had been informed just as he was catching the train to the town he was supposed to pick her up in that her excuse had been visiting a sick friend, but no details. He hoped she would play along. It would be better for both of them if they could get to the outskirts of the town. He could quickly deal with the MT then, and they could hop the train, hopefully with little fuss.
