She meets her when she's going on a run. It's strange seeing celebrities around here, but she reasons that for a lot of people here, she and her teammates are a certain kind of celebrity.
The first time she sees Dianna in person, she doesn't expect her to be taking random pictures around the trail. But she's running to drain herself of those residual feelings that like to stick around when she forgets that she's supposed to be getting over Alex. So she can't judge, really.
She contemplates slowing down and striking up a conversation with her. Maybe she can score an autograph for Sydney and Hope; at the very least it'd be a very interesting story to tell. Oh, I was just running and then I saw Dianna Agron from Glee taking pictures, no big.
She doesn't have to come up with a reason to slow down because it's Dianna with her bright smile that stops her in her tracks.
"Hey, excuse me," Dianna starts. "But aren't you Tobin Heath, the soccer player?" She offers her best smile and extends her hand.
"Dianna Agron! It's nice to meet you!"
She lets this beautiful woman, all smiles and blonde hair, introduce herself even though she already knows of her existence.
Her run temporarily on pause, she stands by the edge of the trail and holds a small conversation with this actress in front of her.
"What are you doing here taking pictures of wild flowers?"
Dianna laughs, her blonde hair getting in front of her face. Tobin finds this urge to brush it away for her, but thinks better of it.
"I'm visiting some friends. I didn't realize this is where the team is located." She nods.
Before she can continue their conversation, she sees a couple of girls running from the opposite direction, coming their way. When the runners pass them, they can hear giggling and wave when one of them throws one last glance their way.
"I'm surprised they didn't stop," Dianna offers.
"Yeah, I would have, to be honest."
Dianna smiles at her, leaning forward conspiratorially. "You did." She ducks her head, the embarrassment coloring her cheeks.
"They might think we were dating," Dianna tells her with a playful grin. She chuckles a little, the idea amusing her.
"Good thing I didn't ask you out," she responds. Well, not yet.
