6. What did you want to be when you were little?
well, everything, really :U i used to think that i could be good at everything, and at that point i kind of was—i was the most fluent reader in my class, i was doing math three levels above my grade at some point, and i had a great vocabulary! i just wish i had been wise enough to know that i couldn’t automatically be good at everything, and had focused on something i loved.
7. How is your family doing?
we’re doing well overall! some tough patches here and there, but we all have more than a few respective stressors.
8. Have you hugged anyone today?
i’m sure i’ll post a full dissertation on this person someday. because it’s really very weird, since staying close to this person is both vital and destructive to my self-esteem and creative capabilities! it’s such an emotional rollercoaster and i can now say that i know from experience how blurred the line between love and hate can become.
10. What is your current job, and do you want a different one?
over the summer i am a camp counselor, and although it is really fun i wish i could work a little more with animals or books!
if i’m truly truly honest with myself, i love the dynamic that could have been between sherlock and moriarty in BBC’s series. not in a gay-happy-domestic way; i mean a mutually-destructive, destroy-the-world-to-destroy-each-other relationship. i mean the couple who would tear the house down in endearing arguments and fistfights. endearing arguments being throwing verbal knives at each others’ heads, just barely missing and on purpose, and it’s normal to literally no one, maybe them on bad days. to everyone else it’s unhealthy; in truth it’s scary and lovely and destructive and creative and terrifying, mostly, but it realizes the capabilities of both parties (both parties being same sides of opposite coins; staring each other down, on the same level but in different buildings, trying not to tackle each other to absolute rock bottom but wanting it so hard, wanting to feel the only solid thing underneath them and it’s the feeling of adrenalin and cocaine.) unfortunately that was hindered a little bit by the characters in the series and the books but i can pretend that there’s such a thing as sherlock without an instinct for self-preservation
tl;dr sherlock and moriarty would totally do cocaine together but sherlock seems to know better
