So this last weekend, I decided to participate in a small sci-fi convention and sold some of my art as prints, postcards and stickers. There was a charity auction that I donated 3 of my postcards.

Afterwards, the coordinator came by and told me that when my cards came up in the auction. They started it at $3 for the set. The ending amount ended up to be $30! She said that as they were showing my cards around, more and more people started bidding and it turned into a bidding war!

I was so flabbergasted! That has to be the biggest complement I had every received. Maybe next time I should donate a print as well.

Need another fall con...

I posted this to FB and Twitter, but I thought I'd ask Tumblr as well. With LEXPO cancelled I have a hole in my fall con schedule. I need suggestions to replace it. Right now I'm considering Kokomo Con (Kokomo, IN) in October. I'm already doing Geek.kon (Madison, WI) in September and Daisho Con (Wisconsin Dells, WI) in November.
