Who have they hurt, and how/why? Were they sorry for what they did?

I am truly sorry for the pain that my friends have experienced during the year we spent together, and after...but, we have all sacrificed too much to continue to live with regrets. 

What’s the worst thing they’ve done out of frustration or a bad temper?

I’ve thrown a few tantrums...

I can’t say I’ve ever acted on these feelings...

What made them end a friendship? (if applicable)

Lucas hasn’t ever actively disowned a friend or anything to that effect. He did drift away from a number of people he was once fairly close with within his home village, though.

The death of his mother put a rift in their community; some people who were once family friends became overly sympathetic and stiflingly pitying, while others started to become openly hostile. Lucas rightfully distanced himself from these people, but it can’t really be said that he was the one to initiate.

What’s the worst thing they’ve said or done to a family member?

There are about a million things he would think to himself that he’s done wrong, but it’s all a whole lot of projecting. Lucas has always been incredibly close to and zealously protective of his family, in his own way.

The worst he can be said to have done would be to have kept his brother’s foolhardy plotting a secret at the worst possible moment, but... he was also eight at the time. He can’t really be blamed for it (though he’s yet to stop beating himself up over that, even over three years after the fact).

What are they doing, if anything, to make themselves a better person?

Unfortunately he’s not really in a great place right now, so... nothing, really. Whoops. Lucas signed the contract out of grief, fear and a desire to escape his problems rather than any drive to “save the world” or what-have-you. Let him have it. He’s had a rough time.
