Perhaps he’d been a bit too reckless. A product of the conditions, he’d say. After being flung inexplicably into a new realm, his normal precautions were eased ever so slightly. Though he was victorious, they left him badly wounded with a third figure approaching underneath the veil of darkness. Nursing the wound on his arm, he gave a slight stare at the individual. “If you knew what I did, you’d keep your distance.” A buff to keep them away, one that hopefully works.
