   such a TOUCHING notion, the very one that kept elsa locked away for all these years. so afraid of HURTING anna, that she never once considered it was the most PAINFUL act of all. but if something happened to her sister? she would never forgive herself – would do anything in her power to make it RIGHT. it should be no surprise that anna feels the same – even if elsa HARDLY feels worthy of such dedication.

    with a GENTLE smile, elsa reaches forward to clasp anna’s warmer hands within her own – relishing a touch that had once been so impossible. 

           “ nothing will HAPPEN to me, i promise. as long as we’re together, we’ll be fine. “

      IT’S IN A KINGDOM’S BEST INTEREST to maintain amicable connections with outside kingdoms to the best of their abilities -- visiting && making nice was on a long list of duties a princess had && it was so lucky for cassandra that everything she was trained for had been so suddenly ripped away from her after the lost princess’ return because now she was free to leave corona && make nice. meeting people was never on the top of the list of things she loved to do && she was known for not making the best of first impressions in most cases but she cared more about her duties than making friends  (  of which she had none to really speak of  ).

      there’s a soft sigh of exasperation before it glosses over into a smile pulling across red lips -- she’s used to meeting less than interesting people almost daily && she’s never quite sure what to expect but she loves her kingdom && wants to protect it so she plays her role regardless.

      ❝  you must be princess anna -- i’m princess cassandra of corona. ugh -- you know what. honestly ? i’m tired of the formality, what do you say we bypass the usual introductions && you show me around, huh ? i’ve had a long boat ride -- i’d rather see something more interesting than more enclosed walls && idle pleasantries.  ❞
